This hardware and software system facilitates remote Rx ordering in conjunction with remote tracing.  The e.lens doctor's software is a Windows 9x full 32 bit multithreaded application utilizing the internet and high quality 128 bit encryption that safely allows the transmission of orders in conjunction with precise lens size and shape to licensed e.lens laboratories 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The e.lens lab software and order retrieval hardware utilizes touch screen convenience and additionally serves as a laboratory tracer.  Both systems automatically download most recent lens and material lists, eliminating the need for labs to ship product update diskettes.
